Abstractics isn't quite a company, not yet anway. It's the name for a company put together by Jeff Patton, Andrew Lawrence, and a nameless but important silent partner. Like many companies, our goal is to change the world.
We'll get to that eventually.
In the mean time this site hosts blogs and personal information for its founders.
The name abstractics is a munging together of abstract and tactics. With it we were trying to poke at the idea that sometimes the best tactic to use when trying to solve a problem in software development is to back away from the problem - to get a bit more abstract in your thinking. Sometimes looking at the context around a problem, or the pattern the problem falls into yeilds the best tactical response.
